There is always something new and exciting happening at Marples Gears.  From new equipment (toys), new customers orders, even special jobs coming through our machine shop. 

     For this year, we have a set of parts for the next Mars rover, which is due to launch in 2009.  Please visit JPL's website to see why our gears are out of this world.

     We are also working on several gear sets for a communications satellite.  One set, a worm, and worm gear, will be the largest precision gear Marples has ever made.  The 18 inch diameter gear is more than twice as big as any gear we have manufactured in the past.
